• CNC-VL800 CNC controlled vertical lathe is widely used to turn internal/external cylindrical surfaces, taper surfaces, slots and chamfers etc., especially suitable for semi-fine machining and fine machining in mass productions of truck parts inclusive of hubs, brake drums, flywheel housing, clutch housing, wheel rims, differential housings, disc workpieces etc.;
• Vertical guide ways, column, machine base and sliding carriage etc. are made of high-grade and high-strength gray cast iron through resin sand casting, ensuring the very high rigidity for this vertical lathe;
• All the guide ways on the vertical column and the sliding carriage etc. are rectangular and plastic coated to greatly reduce the friction, and have been hardened with high-frequency quenching and precision ground to ensure high accuracy in the long-term operations of this vertical lathe;
• Machine spindle runs at variable speeds driven by a variable-frequency motor of 18.5KW, making the machine can perform heavy cutting and semi-finish and finish machining;
• Both vertical and horizontal feedings are automatically performed with servo motors and protection devices are furnished on both directions (vertical and horizontal). Nitrogen-cylinder counterweight balancing devices are equipped on the vertical direction in order to greatly extend the life span of the ball screws;
• Special-purposed lead screw bearings are equipped to support ends of ball screws on both horizontal and vertical directions to guarantee the turning precision of this vertical lathe;
• Electrical lubrication pump offers periodical lubrications on all the ball screws and guide ways, greatly extending their life spans;
• Rack type tool holder or electrical NC turret (stations can be 4, 8 or 12) can equipped on this vertical lathe to make the operations convenience and greatly increase the proficiency;
• Hydraulic power chuck together with the hydraulic power unit are equipped on this machine. Other types of chucks can be supplied on requests;
• Special tooling and encoder can be equipped on this machine for threading on requsts;
• GSK 980TC3 CNC system is equipped with this machine. On request other brands of the CNC systems like Siemens or Fanuc can be supplied.
